Michael Dewayne Davidson, 39, of Fayetteville died Sunday, July 27, 1997, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born December 24, 1957, in Harrison, the son of Vermalea J. Smith.

He was a 1976 graduate of Fayetteville High School and a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired district manager for D.J.’s Hair Salons.

Survivors included his mother and stepfather, Vermalea and Roy Smith of Fayetteville; his maternal grandmother, Lena Jenkins of Fayetteville; two brothers, Ron Davidson and Chad Hodge, both of Fayetteville; and two sisters, Lavonna Latta of Lowell and Denise Smith of Fayetteville.

Funeral was July 30, at Westridge Freewill Baptist Church in Fayetteville with the Rev. Lloyd Thomas officiating. He was buried in Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
