Robert Lewis “Bobby” Waterson died August 12, 2014 in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 57. He was born May 20, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Robert Lee and Mary Margaret Digiacomo Waterson.
Waterson proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He worked for the city of Edmond Electric Department for 34 years. He coached Little League basketball and t-ball. He enjoyed hunting with his son, Wesley, and taking his granddaughter, Audrey, camping. Bob was very proud of his daughter, Jessica, when she became a teacher. He was a handy man to family and friends and enjoyed watching football and basketball, especially Arkansas Razorbacks and OKC Thunder.
Bob was survived by his wife of 30 years, Betty (McWilliams) of the home; his daughter, Jessica, and her husband, William Fish, of Wellston, Oklahoma; his son, Wesley Waterson of the home; his granddaughter, Audrey Fish, and a grandson on the way; his parents; siblings, Linda Scheffe and her husband Bob, Steven Wiseman, Pam Walker and her husband David, Michael Waterson, Sandra Flatt and her husband Mickey.
A funeral was held Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the Wellston Assembly of God Church with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
