Angela M. (West) Lies, 55, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013. She was born Dec. 13, 1957, to Sarge and Shirley (Newton) West in Fort Smith, Ark.; the second of six children.

Angela married Larry Lies in Wichita, Kansas, on May 25, 1985, and they had three children. She attended Kansas State University. Angela worked at JC Penney’s for 18 years as a customer service representative. She was a member of Chisholm Trail Church of Christ. Angela enjoyed cleaning, shopping and spending time with family.

Survivors included her husband, Larry; children, Cheryl (Rob) Longan, Ariel Lies and Omar Rivera, and Taylor Lies; grandchildren, Devin Longan and Jace Longan; and siblings, Charles West, Tony West, Joseph (Robin) West, Luke West, and Anna Allen.

A memorial service was held July 20 at the Combs Street Church of Christ, Fayetteville.
